VTech could you please respond with an update on the SL2HS?

You've got some potential customers waiting.

Sirius told me it will be available the first week of September from Circuit City, Best Buy and one other place.

Default Sirius - Honda/Acura

we are very anxious to get this adapter released and we are working as hard as we can!!

we have a few different projects going at the same time.

we will be releasing the SL2VI video iPod first then the others will follow including the Honda/Acura piece

Default Please!

Could we have a conservative ETA? I just bought my Acura and I will die without Sirius. Should I buy an external receiver to hold me over or is your kit 'just around the corner'?

Basically - is your release date being measured in weeks or months at this point?

I dont work for VAIS, but call them at least once a month to try to get an update on this product. Finally got a guy today who seemed to be honest. The news was not good. He said that this product was REALLY low on the priority list; the place was very poorly managed (despite some brilliant techs working there) and that we should not expect this device to be available anytime in the foreseable future : 2009 at that earliest (if it does not get scrapped altogether). This s*cks!!!! Only hope now is the merger goes through. If I had known this, I would not have bought an Acura. I hate the FCC and am disappointed in VAIS.

Default Honda/Acura and Sirius

this post is to clarify the above statement:

the Honda/ Acura Sirius piece is in the works, in fact we are near the end but for reasons we cannot discuss in this forum we are holding the release/production of this unit and this unit is certainly not at the bottom of the list. And our business is anything but "poorly managed" in fact its managed very well. Also this forum is for posts about our products (tech support or general questions) NOT about how we run our business. Any posts that do not fit our guidelines will not be tolerated and will be erased.
Thank you for your compliance

I've contacted Cruchfield, they claim that this is not available for a 2004 Honda Accord. Is the Sirius Directed Converter to work the same as the SLH? IE can I still use my factor installed XM Antenna, and wheel mounted volume controls? Has anyone purchase/installed one of these items? Does it work as intended.

I recentally spoke with a representative of VAIS they stated that they were holding off on the SLH for the Honda. The reason they were waiting was because another company may realase something similar. I think this may be the item they are waiting on. Can someone confirm.

All I want is to listen to my Sirius in my Honda. Is that too much to ask?
