New GSR-GM01 And GSR-GM02 Adapters Add SiriusXM® Satellite Radio To Select Chevrolet Silverado And GMC Sierra Models
December 26, 2017 – VAIS Technology has developed satellite radio adapters to work with select 2017-2018 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra models. The adapters allow owners of Silverado and Sierra trucks to add SiriusXM® satellite radio to their existing factory stereo without compromising any functionality.

The new GSR-GM01 and GSR-GM02 adapters provide coverage for the Silverado 1500 LS, 2500HD LS, and 3500HD models and the Sierra 1500, 2500HD, and 3500HD models.
Each adapter can be connected directly to the truck’s factory stereo to play satellite radio through the existing stereo system. With their Chevrolet Silverado satellite radio adapter or GMC Sierra satellite radio adapter, the truck owner can fully control the satellite radio functions – such as changing stations and setting presets – using their standard factory radio controls.

Even though installing the GSR-GM01 or GSR-GM02 is relatively straightforward, it still requires some expertise. The adapter will not affect the Silverado’s or Sierra’s factory warranty, but many consumers still opt to hire a professional audio installer or their local dealership to install theirs.
